I know this to be true because the calendar says September, our kids have gone back to school, and harvest festivals abound. However....the recent heat wave in the Central Coast (104 degrees--and remember, most of us don't have air conditioning!) made us think that summer had finally arrived! And then, just for a bit more confusion, all of the stores are suddenly adorned with Christmas and Hanakkuh decor! I'm sure you can understand our surprise when we realized it was time to get going on making our Pumpkin Spice Bars!
